You may know Jasmine Tookes as a Victoria's Secret Angel (she made her iconic debut at the brand's annual fashion show in 2012). But since then, she's amassed a vast portfolio, having modeled for some of fashion's biggest titans, from Louis Vuitton to Ralph Lauren. While her accomplishments as a cover girl are undeniable, Tookes has proven that she's more than a model. She's a boss, wife, mom, sartorial maven (anyone else still obsessed with her 2025 Met Gala look?), and now one of the visionaries behind beauty company Brunel, which she cofounded with former private equity investor Sabrina Castenfelt. Brunel prides itself on crafting products that make body care an experience, rather than just part of a daily routine.
"Even it's just five minutes, take the time to engage in those moments and take care of your skin — treat it like silk."
While Brunel is fairly new to the saturated scene of celebrity and influencer beauty brands, it's far more than just another moment motivated by fleeting trends. In fact, it was birthed out of Tookes's longstanding love for beauty that was cultivated by her mom, grandma, and great grandma. "Being surrounded by the women who raised me, they were always practicing their beauty routines and I would always watch them as a little girl," she says. "I would sometimes even steal their products — especially my mom's La Mer moisturizer. She would say, 'Wait this cream is like $300, you can't put it all over your body.' But that's where my fascination with creams and oils began — stealing my mom's La Mer."
Separate from her family's influence, Tookes also wanted to fill the void she saw in the market. "Sabrina and I saw a real white space for body care; skin care and fragrance has evolved so much, but a lot of times the body is forgotten," she says. "People have these 10-step skin-care routines, but they just completely forget about their body, so we really wanted to bring wellness to body care." Less than six months into the game, Tookes's brand has achieved exactly that and more with only one product as its foundation: body oil.
Naturally, the award-winning body oil is a non-negotiable in Tookes's beauty routine, as she loves moisturizing her body. "I think if you look good, you feel good. So when you have glowing, beautiful skin, you feel much more confident," she says. "Even it's just five minutes, take the time to engage in those moments and take care of your skin — treat it like silk." When she's not using her favorite oil, she loves purchasing K-beauty products (like Sulwhasoo's hero anti-aging serum), this being heavily influenced by her frequent scrolls on TikTok.
Ahead are just a few of Tookes's beauty must haves that help her achieve her effortless glow — and there are more where these came from. From the best moisturizers on the market to her go-to lip balm, keep scrolling to shop the staples she uses regularly.

Jasmine Tookes's Affordable Must Have
While Tookes isn't hesitant to splurge on a beauty product, she swears by the classic and affordable Carmex Lip Balm Jar ($2). It not only cools and soothes the lips with moisturizing cocoa butter, but it also delivers a long-lasting protective barrier to promote healing. Customers also note that it treats chapped lips and cold sores within a day or less, and works better than more expensive brands.

Jasmine Tookes's Investment Must Have
Like the rest of us, Tookes is a K-beauty fan, with the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum ($89) being a top product in her routine. The popular serum features ingredients like the brand's Master Complex, which improves skin hydration and radiance, and a vitamin C derivative for antioxidant benefits. "I am such a big fan of Sulwhasoo, and when I started using this serum, I saw the biggest transformation in my skin — it made it look silky-smooth," she says.

Jasmine Tookes's Morning Must Have
It's no surprise that the model starts her mornings with the Brunel Awakening Body Oil ($48). The fast-drying oil works to hydrate and brighten the skin as well as reduce dullness, thanks to ingredients like a safflower, castor, coconut, and jojoba oil blend, and vitamins C, D, and E. "The scent alone gives me this boost of energy waking up and makes my skin glow without being oily," she says. "A lot of body oils are typically pretty oily or sticky, but this one dries down really fast, so if I'm getting ready quickly in the morning for a meeting, I can even throw on a silk top and not be worried about oil getting on it."

Jasmine Tookes's Nighttime Must Have
For her nighttime routine, Tookes keeps the Weleda Skin Food Light Nourishing Cream ($20) in steady rotation. She credits this cream as her No. 1 to use. It's formulated with plant extracts like chamomile and calendula to deliver instant hydration for the face and body.

Jasmine Tookes's Fashion Must Have
The concept of dressing well is far from foreign to the Brunel founder, and one of her recent purchases includes this Saint Laurent Single-Breasted Wool Blazer ($1,760), equipped with luxe details like satin-finish peak lapels and shoulder pads. "I love a splurge on a good blazer that you can literally wear with anything. If you're wearing an evening dress, you can throw it over the shoulders so it comes off a bit more chic; or if you have simple denim and a T-shirt," she says. "It's a perfect piece to take any outfit to a very sophisticated and elegant level."
